Sino German Creative Park Four

Sino German Creative Park Four is a museum and cultural exchange center in Qingdao, China. The building stands on a north slope, facing the main park entrance, with a river landscape to the south. The Bridge House

The Bridge House is a private residence built on a steep slope facing a valley. Interconnected grid bridges link the house to different parts of the site, so no clear boundary is set between the building and nature. The design is inspired by the linear terraces of local architecture. The building is raised above the ground and given a porous form to address the high humidity of the area. The facade has operable sliding panels with louvers that control light and heat and also provide privacy. Reclaimed ceramic tiles, granite and glass are used in the interior.
